"Numbered shares" – thoughts on implementation? #524

First, thanks for the ongoing work on Captable!

For the same reasons outlined in this Open-Cap-Format-OCF issue [1] (and merged in [2]), in certain countries an investor owns a specific range of numbered shares, not just an arbitrary block of shares_count.

E.g., if John owns 100 shares and he wishes to sell a portion of these to someone else, he can only sell shares within his specific numbered range, say he owns shares numbered 501-600, or maybe even 501-550 and 801-850 if he did separate investments or made a secondary market purchase.
There might be situations where the latter (multiple ranges) is true, but John still wants to sell a portion of his shares across disparate ranges (for instance 75 shares, which would eat up the entire 501-550 range, and parts of the 801-850 range).

In countries where such ownership is required by law, Captable is currently not a viable option, but I really wish it could be!
Has any work or thought gone into this already?
Thanks!
