This comes from increasing trans_queue_size in gem5/ext/dramsim3/DRAMsim3/configs/DDR4_8Gb_x8_2400.ini too much.

Either increase installed memory or reduce this queue size step by step. Note that might you might end up with issues in DRAMsim3. Check the comment in gem5/ext/dramsim3/DRAMsim3/configs/DDR4_8Gb_x8_2400.ini.
