Next to the 1-click installation convenience, the AppStore is also easy and probably the biggest single financial opportunity for this project (even if apple keeps fee, but that's Apple User's choice.) - so it is crazy😔, that we don't have that yet to make it pay a lot of extra development. ( 1. Paid version for a reasonable $x/year 2. "Secret" free version when poor, linked in the end of the description) and since our users tend to stay for many years, this can eventually fund more complex features / projects

• And we should have registered a non-profit business entity or two already (besides in most countries that takes some waiting AFAIK.) But then we can also apply for free advertisement by google.
  • Such entity could also provide other FOSS in the AppStore, fby other developers (, who might ask or chose a completely free license)..

as for the dev mode its kinda annoying to do the same workaround again and again....:P
