Feature Suggestion: Add Option to only update new items, not all

Since you added the sync of only the new and changed items before the full sync of all items begins, this feature has worked beautifully and 99% of the time does everything I need. Due to the unfixable issue in another post here, I've had to always leave background Sync disabled.

While the full sync is running, usually unnecessarily, I still get slowdowns and sometimes crashes if I try to play a video instead of waiting for it all to complete (12 mins on my large library). Could we perhaps get an option in the settings to ONLY do your recent sync on bootup and then allow the full sync to only be triggered using the ‘Perform manual library sync’ button in add on menu?
