Substitute Direct Paths: Option 2

I am trying to enable Direct Paths, based on the instructions for the second option. I have my Plex Media Server on a Synology DS920+ and Synology Expansion Unit. I am unsure how to substitute direct paths from Plex, because I have folders from my “Movies” and “Shows” libraries on both of my storage pools/volumes. I don't understand how to make the Plex libraries accessible under the same network root path, based on the instructions for Option 2. I understand how to make the folders with my library’s contents accessible as SMB paths, but don’t know how to mount each library’s folders to the same path. Can you guys help me figure this out? I'd greatly appreciate any help.
