Current state:
If the user is not authenticated, he will get redirected to the login page.

Possible new feature:
It might be nice to have the possibility to automatically start the login procedure, so that the user gets redirected to the OIDC provider. This could be enabled as a config option.
For the logout procedure, I would propose to render the login page.
