Prioritize the recovery phrase more than a recovery device

I had my device dead but fortunately I had my recovery phrase backed up on a piece of paper I have tried multiple times to regain access to my internet identity but it requires me to have my dead phone working. This is something concerning and I'm here to tell the team behind internet identity to make it possible for people for users to use a recovery phrase more than a recovery device. The cryptographic public key that is kept into the device should not be the overall in signing in

Thanks for the feedback. I have a couple of questions about your problem:

• Did you try adding another device after using the recovery phrase and it failed?
• Do you want to use the recovery phrase every time that you log in Internet Identity or in another dapp?
