[Feature Request] Support for startDevice return value, device running state and stopDevice

So maybe this seems a lot, but this library has a huge scope if it can map as much functionality from miniaudio as possible.

Miniaudio startDevice equivalent function returns a value indicating if it was success or error, maybe we could map that return value here or general device.state and device.onStateChange would be great. stopDevice already seems to be in checklist and it would be great to see.
