I find the description of atom_mixed irritaing:

udkm1Dsim/udkm1Dsim/structures/atoms.py

Line 366 in a4e2c77

All properties of the included sub-atoms of class Atom are averaged

,

as it does claim that ALL parameters are averaged. Magnetic properties seem to be omitted and need to be re-introduced, right?

Either the description or the code should be changed.

how about:
all non-vectorial properties are averaged
