What purpose would the crops serve? I feel that there should be another mechanic implemented (such as hunger or brewing) to give the player a reason to farm.
An alternative to planting seeds may be finding wild crops in specific areas that can be harvested every so often. For example, you could find a rice plant in the marshes, a mushroom colony in a cave, and a ghost chili bush in the haunted house.
What do we think about a farming aspect to the game? Is it possible to implement a farming mechanic?
Maybe we could let the player plant seeds and grow crops in a special room?
