(via Lia): Frank Habicht asks why the ixp-country-jedi doesn't support IPv6.
currently:

  • both ipv4/ipv6 measurements are taken
  • the geopath viz shows v4 and v6
    but potential improvements (just a braindump):
  • geopath shows v4 and v6 (but only for probes that support both IPv4 and IPv6)
  • for probes that support both IPv4 and IPv6:
    • ixp-country viz could show IPv4 and IPv6 side-by-side
    • A new viz could show the differences between IPv4 and IPv6 paths
      • are they the same/different at the ASN/IXP level and/or in the countries that are detected in the path?
      • if we have RTTs to the end-points: is v4 or v6 faster or the same (see labs articles about defining margins)
