Tried this on a public wifi network and found that the router had assigned me an IPv6 address.
It did also scan the IPv4 ranges and did get a response from my laptop (running emoncms during development), but did not display it within the results.
Not sure if this is applicable in this scenario (public wifi)? You'd be within your own network to scan? Checking for the IPv6 ranges should be ignored until that feature is fully tested and integrated.
