Generic UNIX socket monitor

Thank you for maintaining this great package, which I've been utilizing for many years now.

I've gone through the documentation to determine how one might easily monitor a UNIX socket and didn't find an obvious answer (perhaps runwatch?). My specific reason is I'm attempting to set up an indicator for https://github.com/maximbaz/yubikey-touch-detector

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
