reconsider legend and thumbnail generation

Renaming a target file will make the legend and thumbnail being generated again.

We should rethink the implementation/idea.

EDIT:
new naming scheme should help to bring this back to sync:

I would actually love to be able to create the colormap dynamically in the client by using a definition, maybe we could base it on your json file. It would be best to have the definition linked somehow per collection.

The problem of generating this in the asset repository is that the actual configuration lives in the catalog repository.
Maybe we could have a package that extracts the information from a catalog repo you point it to and we can generate it within the assets repository?
