GnuSort

GnuSort is a simple and lightweight utility for sorting files quickly and efficiently by filetype.

Why did I make GnuSort?

One day, my wife handed me a hard drive containing hundreds of gigabytes of data; a mishmash of system files, documents, photos, movies and other files from TWO previous computers she had owned. The complete C:\ drive from both computers, along with many other folders and files, had been dumped into a massive heap. It was complete chaos.

She wanted to get all of her most important files, including cherished family photos and video, off the hard drive and organized. I decided to write this program to help people quickly organize and find their important data; especially memories of family and friends.
