Brain data incomplete when using password authentication

Currently using 0.7.8 build of hubot-flowdock adapter with node v6.14.3 and hubot 3.2.0. I have tried multiple versions of node and hubot as well as multiple brians (jobot-file, redis) to duplicate. When password authentication to flowdock is used instead of token authentication, the "_private" key is not populated in the brain.
