Nevermind what I've asked below, I picked barebones.Hi geckolinux and thank you for responding (as always). Good to haves: Which version would be best to download? I like Gnome but can live with KDE if I have to. |

Hi there,
I'm definitely not a developer, so I'm not sure what is desirable for that. But my personal preference for a productive workstation is Cinnamon, which shares a lot of the good parts of the Gnome infrastructure but is much more suitable for power users.
I do have experience with LAMP and LEMP stacks, and I currently host a website on a server running Leap because I prefer the slower pace of change. But for development I imagine that Tumbleweed would be preferable so that you can work with the latest and greatest frameworks.
Maybe you could try a live USB with GeckoLinux, which will have persistent storage so you can save the changes. Just get a feel for it first and see which one fits your needs and preferences before you commit to it.

Hi,
I'd like to try installing GeckoLinux on VirtualBox and wonder when the next ISO updates will get posted?
