I have to admit, every time I try to rewatch Part II, I turn it off pretty quickly. Pretty bad, though I suspect I'd still love the alternate 1985 if I could make it that far.

But as bad as it is, Part II is absolutely a cultural milestone, and I remember almost every second of the unwatchable 2015 stuff.

I find part 3 just as enjoyable as the first, but 2 really feeds my inner time-travel-nerd, so I spend more time trying to pick out the little things than truly enjoying it. I think the bad makeup jobs for old everyone, and the prevalence of fax machines take me out of it, but I try and remember that it's an alternate 2015, where Marty still had his hangups about being called chicken, which were resolved in part 3, and he (and Doc) came back a better man, which surely had a ripple effect through time, bringing us to our current 2015. That and maybe more unseen time-travel tomfoolery that possibly takes place after part 3.
