Description
Was wondering if there was a way to add the datasource to a variable.
Doesn't seem to be a way to add the query.

Reason
This is for adding values from multiple datasources togheter (InfluxDB and Google sheets)

Any update on this request?
Would be great to be able to have the same configuration to get a range from a Google Sheet data source for variables as it is for panels.

Interested too ! I see it was added in grafana/grafana#72612 but not sure how to track the status of it

It would be an easy get around to defining custom global const variables also :)

+1 for this. It would be very helpful for any IOT use cases that often use a spreadsheet as a model to drive dashboards interaction
