Arduino Uno R4 minima is already widely available. Will there be a grblhal firmware for R4 minima? It is very interesting because it can use the CNC Shield Protoner.

If someone writes a driver for it then yes. I am not going to do so because it is a rather slow MCU with limited GPIO. And the pro Eclipse based development tools are not free.

Some STM32F4xx boards (Nucleo-64) can as well. Significantly faster MCUs and more GPIO pins that are accessible...
FYI The STM32F4xx grblHAL driver is my main platform so most developments emerges from it.
