Hello i'm trying to help on getting open issues fixed.

I just started my first install the of the theme created the 2 pages ad mentionned in the readme but i can't get PP pins running.
Everytime I run the command from the readme i get this error

Malo💻:davehakkens-master malorichard$ cat pp_pins_create.sql | docker exec -i 3c205c210033 mysql --user=wordpress --password=wordpress -D wordpress
cat: pp_pins_create.sql: No such file or directory
Error: No such container: 3c205c210033

I do the command from the root folder.
I 'm not yet familiar with docker so i might do something wrong, could you help me out.

Hello, I tried the same thing. But even without this thing (pins) I'm not able to run the theme. I install it, and activate it (all together with other plugins) but when going to website everything is blank (with some errors in console).
@davehakkens Maybe you should go through all the steps and update the readme if something is missing so we can help you close the issues.
I'll try again to follow all the steps and post which issues I have (with installation).

Not sure to be honest. I would say the theme should just function, but @nzchicken added the pin feature on the website maybe he knows.
Either way i started setting up a development website to play around Would that be useful?

Found the error @milica

It was hidden there (for myself i had nothing in the console)

if you've installed Budypress and BBpress you need to activate friend connections and private message in buddypress settings..
found the solution here

capture d ecran 2017-12-13 a 10 34 07

Now it looks ok (there are still some warning but the theme is on)
capture d ecran 2017-12-13 a 10 48 48

It's not fully functional as there is no content in it but most of the functionality are in.

I leave the issue open as we didn't found out about the pins problem

⚠️ But we should add 2 lines in the readme about activating friends connections and private message in Buddypress settings..

@MaloRchrd hey, sorry, i've been meaning for a while to update the info on the readme for the pins stuff. it shouldn't be integral as the pins were just a data service. In theory everything should work without it. As for the rest of the theme, i've tried a couple of times to get it running locally properly, however theres just some things and plugins that are required in the site in order for it to work properly which I could never figure out. It's quite a customized theme, so as soon as you squash one thing to get working, someone else pops up - and my wordpress knowledge isn't extensive enough to be able to write a setup script for this.
