@mikenomitch I don't think it's possible to use workload identities right now with the Autoscaler. From the docs:

In Nomad 1.4.0 the workload identity is used only for template access to Variables and not exposed outside of Nomad.

I opened #601 so we can investigate this further when the feature gets expanded.

I will mark the item as done for now since there's no documentation to add.
