64 bit linux dosent work

my friend is on linux and he installed the linux version of it

it dosent work

this error is thrown when logging into a server:

Error loading 'plugins/libClassic64-x64.so':
    libSDL2-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

i have the rom in the plugins dir,
i've updated libsdl2-2.0-0.
still not working.

os: debian 12
classicube version: 1.3.7

The issue was that i had installed classicube via snap,
i manually installed classicube and the plugin now works perfectly.
edit:
this issue seems to be more of "doesn't work on snap installations" kinda thing.
