Your plugin work fine but sometime, I lose the connection and I can't see my play-list and other functionalities any more.
I need to reboot the LMS service to get the connection again.
I happens +/- 1 time per week.
Is it a way to debug what happens when it occurs to solve the issue?

/var/log/squeezeboxserver/server.log should show you the errors when you request the playlists/tracks etc.
I have something similar on a pi with max2play. It looks to be related to log-in/authentication to google music and may be an issue with the gmusic api.
I haven't time to look into it at the moment but have worked around it by setting a cron job to run at 4am which restarts the LMS
