No Support for Persistence?

I don't know too much about the workings of this but there doesn't seem to be any support for persistence when I boot into Tails. Is there a way I can edit the script to allow Persistence to work? I tried using rcaught's script but couldnt get it to work as it wouldnt verify the ISO. (Same ISO, key etc all verified fine with the main release).
