I'd like to have an option to enable metrics such as go_memstats_alloc_bytes, etc. Analogously to prometheus/node_exporter#1148.

There is this open Pull Requests: #125
I'm waiting for feedback of the original author, because I would like to have that optionally. By default they should be activated currently.

This would be really nice, as those metrics are probably good for testing but in production they just fill your database.
