Describe the bug
If dash-to-panel and ArcMenu are both enabled, gnome-shell memory usage goes up by 10-15MB on every display configuration change (e.g. refresh rate).

Just to be perfectly clear, the leak happens only if both ArcMenu and dash-to-panel are enabled (and no other extensions). If only ArcMenu is enabled or only dash-to-panel is enabled the leak does not happen. Due to this I'm unsure where the problem is and reporting this issue to both projects.

Linux distribution and version
Debian unstable

GNOME Shell version
GNOME Shell 47.3

Dash-to-Panel version
dash-to-panel git 002b966

ArcMenu version
64 from extensions.gnome.org
