@PlasmaticRiver if you do end up with a setup that allows you to cast a 4k video from YouTube to Roku using WVC, please do let me know, I'm trying to figure out the right video format and codecs that works.

It may be possible, but I'm not sure. Had no issue casting 4k HLS and 1440p HLS from Vimeo to Roku using WVC, but i havent figured out if the same thing is possible on YT.

I assume it's still theoretically possible. I know YT-dl apps like Seal can grab the 4K HLS for downloading purposes, so if you were able to get the full link and throw it in WVC, maybe it would work? IDK.

Now that playlet can select qualities up to 1080p, this issue is now about 4K/HDR support
