The default value for no longer works

MERCURY_URL=https://mercury.host

What is an alternative?

On a related note, the README.md file points to

https://reader.postlight.com/web-parser/

which is not a working link.

The default value for no longer works

It wasn't intended to works. It's a dummy URL. Mercury parser must be installed somewhere to be accessible: https://github.com/postlight/parser
