"shims are missing" but shim is present

If I run mise doctor on macOS, I get the following error (sometimes uppercase Python):

1. shims are missing, run mise reshim to create them
   Missing shims: python

Even though the python shim is created and I uninstalled the python plugin:

$ which python
/Users/kev/.local/share/mise/shims/python

I assume this is a bug related to mac APFS being case-insensitive:

I opened #4333 as proposed fix. That resolves the doctor error for me.
