The following minimal command doesn't work anymore for me after updating:

swaylock --color 000000 --fade-in 1

I would expect a black screen to fade in over one second but instead it instantly appears. The fade in does seem to be working with screenshots and other effects, but just not a solid color. I suspect it's related to #60.

Let me guess, you’re using Hyprland? (It works without any problem on Sway)

I am not, I am using Sway on Archlinux.

I guess the fade in doesn't work on hyprland

I can actually reproduce this problem on Sway 1.8.1.
