With the Arduino Ethernet Shield, this library allows an Arduino board to connect to the internet.

This fork fixes upstream issue #267, in which SPI and socket settings can’t be changed without modifying the library. It does this by incorporating PR #268.
Because the upstream repo seems to be unmaintained (judging by the lack of activity on issues and PRs), this fork will stand for the foreseeable future.
Install arduino-cli
as detailed in the Arduino CLI installation docs.
Then run:
arduino-cli config set library.enable_unsafe_install true
arduino-cli lib install --git-url https://github.com/joeyparrish/Ethernet
