when faceting, plots with no sustained rows should revert to the default plot with a median line spanning the duration of the plot.

Currently,as part of the fixes for plotting runs in both directions, any facets with no sustained rows show a fixed median line, but no extended median, resulting in a warning.

Consider creating a separate plotting function for these facets

resolved - sustained facets display correctly as before, non-sustained facets now show the extended median across the remainder of the dataset
