Cannot scroll sideways in Chrome on Mac OS X

For some reason I cannot scroll sideways, so I can't see the landscaped tablet view only half of it.

I'm on Mac OS X, with Chrome 23.0.1271.101.

I'm using Mountain Lion, and can scroll sideways. Do you see the horizontal scrollbar at all when you try to scroll?

No scrollbars, on a thunderbolt display, and a mid 2012 macbook air. Version
24.0.1312.57

Just moved the window to the air's own display, then the horizontal
scrollbars appear again.
So there is something here with the resolution of the thunderbolt display.
