The automatic file format identification tool sometimes produces warnings when there are multiple formats identified but only one selected, or when there is a mismatch between the identified format and the file name extension. These warnings are currently not available for inspection in the Web user interface.
In this task, we propose to create risk incidents related to the file whenever there is a warning on the automatic file format identification. The list of risk incidences is available in the file information panel and the user can quickly check the warning and accept the risk if they are false positives.
This task will help to identify cases of file format misidentification or incorrect file name extension issues.
Add this info to formatNote in the PREMIS object. Also, add risk incidence. May also consider showing this information close to the file format information in the file information sidebar.
