Blur the main menu?

Is there any way to blur Cinnamon's main menu background so far (to match the panel)?
Also, it'd be nice if the small panels that open like when you click on the wifi connection symbol or the volume setting could be blurred as well.

You're the 2nd person to ask for that feature. I will be looking into it once I get some other stuff done. I suspect it's doable, but I don't know for sure yet, so no guarantees.

This would be somewhat tryicky because what about the calendar? Other applets menu? And what if someone is using Cinnamenu instead of orignal menu?
