In many cases it's advantageous to have DepthAI deployed remotely and to be able to selectibly (based on what it sees, or just settings) return metadata, images, and/or video - without need for hard wiring or Ethernet. If no video (and perhaps no images) are needed, then perhaps LoRa WAN could be used instead (and we're planning on supporting that separately.
If in some cases, having remote deployment with the capability to send video is needed in locations for which WiFi is intractable. So in this case, cell is the most valuable solution.

We are evaluating various cell modules which we can integrate onboard. We will likely downselect one primarily on its flexibility (e.g. capability to be used in the widest geographical areas).
