The recOrder plugin takes nearly half the width of my screen on macOS (with 1352x878).

It would be nice to shoot for <1/3, but this is not critical.

I'm guessing that the checkboxes and the "Create Model", "Build & Run Model" and "Clear All Models" buttons are the widest?

Yes, I believe they have some internal minimal width. I will add a scroll pane for the Recon tab like one exists for the LC Calibration tab so that it does not block.
