I installed your plugin following the readme step by step. Collectd starts and other plugins are working as usual. Yours is not recording data and I see the following traces in the journal.

Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.16.78-48 aarch64)
Collectd 5.7.2
Perl 5.26.1

Hi @ngosang
Kind of strange. Please share contents of your collectd.conf so that I can review better.

I don't have this plugin installed right now. I reverted the changes until it's fixed.
I just added these 2 blocks in my collectd => https://github.com/michelgokan/collectd-top#installation
I have experience with collectd. I'm pretty sure the problem is in the Perl code.
