Suggestion: Data View Enhancements for Better User Experience

First of all, I want to express my gratitude for this wonderful plugin. It has significantly improved my data analysis workflow. Coming from a Stata and R background, I have a few gentle suggestions that might enhance the user experience further.

Suggestions for Consideration

1. Sidebar Data Display: Perhaps we could have data displayed directly in the sidebar without requiring an extra click? This would help with quick data glancing.

2. Auto-refresh Feature: Would it be possible to automatically refresh the data view after code execution? This could help users track changes more seamlessly.

3. Flexible Sidebar Behavior: Currently, the sidebar activates automatically when opening data view. Making this optional might provide more flexibility for different workspace preferences.

4. Split View Enhancement: The data view splitting feature seems to have some limitations. It would be wonderful if this functionality could be reviewed.

Context

In my daily analysis work, I often need to observe how data changes as code executes. These suggestions come from this specific use case, aiming to make the workflow even smoother.

I completely understand if these changes might not align with the plugin's design philosophy or if they're technically challenging to implement. These are merely suggestions based on my experience.

Could you please elaborate more on 4. Split View Enhancement? Do you mean to have an option to open the data to the side of the notebook or python file?
