Short cut key binding and user interface

I install and use the makefile extension. I was disappointed in the user interface. Specifically I would have like to have a tab in the explorer view that showed the .Phony makefile options. I would also like to be able to select one of the options as the "default" which then became bound to the "ctrl-alt-b" standard build shortcut.
It would have also been nice to have the build icon on the bottom of status bar, like cmake does.

@trampas Thank you for the report. We usually use the number of yes votes on issues to gauge community priorities and needs, and we will use it to track the priority of this work item!
