Current version in google play crashes when using volume with encfs in root folder of dropbox. Looks different from issue #70 (which was fixed that time).

I'm getting a different null dereference with Encdroid version 2.2.3 on Android 8.0 (December 2017 security patch level). The step during (or after) which the app crashes is "Deriving password key". My EncFS-encrypted folder is a top-level folder in my Dropbox.

edit: I'm getting the same error on an older phone with Android 5.1.1
