Process creation predicates and inline browsing and searching of documentation

I'm adding experimental support to the Logtalk help tool to browse and search inline at the top-level interpreter the Texinfo versions of the Handbook and APIs documentation. This functionality requires connecting the Prolog standard streams to the created info process streams. In other Prolog systems, this can be accomplished using process_create, exec, or extended shell predicates. You can see in the link above how I'm doing it for other Prolog systems. It would be nice to have this functionality also working Scryer Prolog. Of course, this would also be useful as a possible solution to browse/search inline at the top-level the Scryer Prolog own documentation.

library(os) provides shell/[1,2], does this help to solve this issue?

No. The shell/1-2 predicates don't connect the Prolog streams to the process streams. If you ever browsed .info files from within an Emacs session, that's the same experience I describing here. After finishing browsing a .info file, you go back to where you were before.
