Abnormal font spacing when using custom fonts

Hello!

I noticed that some custom fonts have unusual large line spacing (see screenshot).
I tried using Source Sans Han (Japanese) which is affected by the bug.
I am actually not sure if this is normal by that font.

Some data:

Google Pixel 6a
Android 14 (Nov. 2023 patch)
Aedict 3.51.2

Unfortunately custom fonts tend to have this kind of effect, for some reason. I'm simply using stock Android components to both show and edit text. Could it be some kind of bug in Android font rendering mechanism? 🤔

Could you please attach the font in this ticket, so that I can try it out myself? You can zip the font file and attach it here as a zip file.
