@mwilliamson do you accept changes? I'd like to support gss auth, but I'm not sure if you accept it.

The gss auth can be used for authenticating with Microsoft Active Directory without password. The paramiko client supports it. https://docs.paramiko.org/en/3.3/api/client.html
