So, I've started to look into documenting some cabling. Initially I documented the ODFs with each port individually, and connected our devices to them. Then when I learnt about the circuits model, I notice it's got a field for patch panel and port, which then would be redundant with the actual ODF device. (having the port documented on the circuit termination as well as the circuit actually terminating on the also documented ODF port) Should I just skip the whole ODF device and just terminate the circuit on the cable connecting our device? Probably have some sort of dummy device just to document the rack fully.
