Overview

Pagination is used to display test results in Your GP health record but pagination is used irrelevant of how many results are returned. It doesn't use a contents list to group pages (as per design system guidance), instead it uses a double pagination pattern which could be confusing for users. Pages are generated when there are no results and there is no indication that a page is empty until a user arrives there.

Objective

Addressing this issue requires determining user needs around viewing and navigating test results. Fixing it would ensure we are adhering to the design system and reducing friction in the user experience.

Activities

  • Explore possible solutions including correct use of pagination
  • Test with users
  • Update test results designs
