.github directory is hidden

For some reason, the .github directory is hidden and I cannot figure out how to show it. nvim-tree.filters.dotfiles is false and I can see other dotfiles in the directory but .github just isn't there. Is this a bug related to how the .git directory is hidden? I don't see any other options for showing this.

Try terminating git path in your custom filter (\\.git$).

I wrote that filter a few years ago and totally forgot about it. Working now thank you!
