What

After an issue has been reported:

  1. It can take weeks for it to be acted upon. For instance the issue I reported on 2024-12-12 for 3560071180744 is still not fixed 4 weeks later and no one contacted me about it either. The same goes for three other issues I reported.
  2. The user has no way to see the issue(s) they reported.
  3. The user has no way to know the status of their issue(s).
  4. There is no way for the user to provide additional information.
  5. Other users have no way to know which issues have been opened for a product. (Maybe that's intentional for security reasons, though I can hardly imagine why, after all security is much more of an issue with software and yet anyone can see the issues in this bug tracker.)

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Log in as a regular user.
  2. Go to https://nutripatrol.openfoodfacts.org/
  3. Try to find a way to browse the issue(s) you reported. Fail.

Expected behavior

https://nutripatrol.openfoodfacts.org/ should provide a way for a user to see their own issues, their status, provide additional information and maybe close an issue.

Note that while more timely handling of the reports would alleviate this issue, it would not replace the above functionality.
