fake Login via nextAuth not working

I added nextAuth and mongoDB Adapter to my app and tried to implement a fake user

github and google are working like this, but not the fakeuser
when entering the data I get back to the "login" button site

It's really difficult to diagnose the issue here. I don't have access to your database and can't locally debug any of the relevant code.
I did find an article for implementing just what you want, though. Maybe this can help?
